The Jewish Book Festival Turns 20!

Sunday's AJC featured a great article about the wonderful folks behind the MJCCA Jewish Book Festival.  Held annually in November with the largest group of authors appearing over a few weeks, it actually runs throughout the year as the MJCCA hosts authors on a regular basis.  If you've never attended any of their programs, give one this season a try.  Their author events are fun, well-organized and entertaining.

We're In the Local News

A tip o' the hat to Roswell newspapers The Current and Northside Woman.  Both papers feature articles about the Friends of the Roswell Library in their October issues.  The Current has a great article by Tripp Liles (p. 21) about the Friends and the many things we do (including our "hidden gem" - the bookstore).  Northside Woman features an article by Kate Vanbrackle (p. 8) about the Mystery Readers' Book Club.  Click the links above to read the issues online or find free copies available in the library's lobby during operating hours (while supplies last).  Many thanks to our local community newspapers for spotlighting and supporting our endeavors.
