This Week @ the Roswell Library

All libraries in the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System will be closed Monday, May 28 in observance of Memorial Day.   The week of May 27 - June 2 will be busy as staff prepare for summer reading programs for children, teens and adults, which begin June 1.   Registration for the reading programs is ongoing between June 1 and July 31.  Because of State of Georgia guidelines, registration must begin on June 1 (not any earlier).  Children can sign up in the Children's Department and teens and adults can sign up in the Reference Department.

For more information about any upcoming programs at the Roswell Library, please visit our website at http://www.forl.net/ or call the library at 770-640-3075.  Have a happy and safe summer!

This Week @ the Roswell Library

Wondering what to do this week?   For the week of May 20 - 26, be sure to check out some of our great programs.  The Mystery Readers' Book Club will meet to discuss Body of Evidence by Patricia Cornwell, the LEGO Club will meet to build a variety of bridges, and Dr. Guin Bennett will present "Get It Going On In the Gut," a discussion of digestive health.   You'll also find the usual line-up of ESL classes, Yoga, and Needlecrafts.

The Summer Reading Program for children, teens and adults will begin June 1.  Special activities and events (puppet shows, music shows, etc.) will be held throughout the summer.   Due to the popularity of the Children's programs, registration begins one week before each program (in order to give as many folks as possible an opportunity to attend).

Everything you need to know can be found on our website http://www.forl.net/libraryprograms.html.   You may also call the Roswell Library at 770-640-3075 and staff will be glad to assist you.
