Wanted: LEGO Toys

The Children's Department is looking for donations of gently used LEGO toys, in sets or loose.   A LEGO club will begin in late August and continue on the 4th Tuesday of each month.   Please only donate LEGO toys that you don't want back.   Your donations will become part of the library's collection.  Also, please donate regular LEGO toys only - no DUPLO toys.   Thank you!

Shake It Up! Drama Workshop

Monday, June 20.   5:00 p.m. 
Ages 11 - 17. 

Participants will be up and at 'em, working together to create their own scenes and characters from randomly selected concepts that they themselves come up with.   Registration is required and spaces are limited.   Please call the Roswell Library at 770-640-3075 to register.

READing Paws on June 18th

Beginning readers, grades 1 and up, are welcome.

The Reading Paws program visits the Roswell Library to help children practice their reading skills in a warm and friendly environment.  These trained and certified therapy dogs love stories!   Reading sessions are held in the Story Time Room in the Children's Department and last 15 minutes.  Reservations are required and may be made in person or over the phone by calling the Roswell Library at 770-640-3075.

Join us for a fun afternoon on Saturday, June 18, with author Renea Winchester.  Renea is the author of the popular gardening and writing blog Bloggin' Billy's which tells further tales from her book In the Garden with Billy: Lessons About Life, Love & Tomatoes.   The program begins at 2:00 p.m.

Middle School Summer Book Speed Date
