Banned Books Week 2010 - Celebrate the Freedom to Read
Where would we be without books like To Kill a Mockingbird, Beloved or The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn? We would be a much poorer nation. Classic works and contemporary novels are challenged all the time. Banned Books Week starts today and continues through October 2nd. To learn more, here are a couple of websites you might want to visit: bannedbooksweek.org and the American Library Association's page on Banned Books Week.
