Actually, the work for this weekend's book sale started months ago when members of the Friends began sorting, selecting, and pricing books and other donations like videos and CDs. Now, they are moving these items from the storage room and the bookstore into the meeting room. The arduous task of arranging them into easy to find categories is well under way!
Many thanks to Janet Laroway, Carol Harrison, Mary Mitchell, Maisie Partridge, and others who are in the meeting room this very moment getting things ready. Come Friday, it will be a feast for the eyes (and the pocketbooks, we hope)!
The Preview Party for members (new members may join at the door) is Friday, Dec. 4th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. The regular book sale is Saturday, December 5th from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Be sure to plan ahead - there will be lots of bargains.
