Wondering what to do this week? For the week of July 26 - July 31, this will be the last week of our regular story time programs until September; the Mystery Readers' Book Club meets to discuss Dog On It by Spencer Quinn; free ESL classes; free computer classes - Introduction to Microsoft Word and Advanced Internet Skills; a Colonial Times Traveling Trunk Show for kids; a Latin Dance Workshop celebrating National Dance Day; and as usual, books for sale in the lobby and in the Friends' Bookstore.
Don't forget to mark your calendars for our End of Summer Book Sale in August. There will be a Preview Party for members on Friday, August 20th from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. New members are welcome to join at the door. The Regular Book Sale hours will be Saturday, August 21st from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
If you'd like the Friends to consider different times for a Preview Party to accommodate 9 - 5 work schedules, please let us know. We've had one request already. We appreciate our members and want to make our benefits (such as the Preview Party) accessible to as many people as possible. Thanks.
