Book Clubs for Children @ the Roswell Library

Are you looking for a book club for your child?   Look no further - the Roswell Library has you covered!  The Children's Department will offer its popular book clubs again this fall.   A list of clubs, ages and reading requirements is below.   Reservations are required and are accepted according to the registration dates listed.  Please call the library at 770-640-3075 if you have any questions.

K1 Book Club
Tuesdays, October 5, November 2, and December 7.   4:00 p.m.
K1 Book Club is a book discussion group for children in kindergarten and 1st grade.   At the meeting, we will read a book together and do activities related to the book.   No advance preparation is needed.   Grades K and 1.   Reservations begin September 14, October 12, and November 16.  

Reading Pals Book Club (for children in 2nd and 3rd grade)
  • Tuesday, September 21.  4:00 p.m.  Read any Geronimo Stilton book.  We'll discuss them and do an activity related to the books.  Reservations begin August 31.
  • Tuesday, October 19.  4:00 p.m.  Read any Secrets of Droon book.  We'll discuss them and do an activity related to the books.  Reservations begin September 28.
  • Tuesday, November 16.  4:00 p.m.  Read any My Weird School book.  We'll discuss them and do an activity related to the books.  Reservations begin October 26.
Talk It Up Book Club (for Ages 9-11)
  • Monday, September 20.  6:30 p.m.  We’ll discuss The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan.   Snacks will be provided.   Reservations begin August 30.
  • Monday, October 18.  6:30 p.m.  We’ll discuss Among the Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix.    Snacks will be provided.   Reservations begin September 27.
  • Monday, November 15.  6:30 p.m.  We’ll discuss The Book of Three by Lloyd Alexander.   Snacks will be provided.   Reservations begin October 25.
