Book Clubs for Kids

The Roswell Library is offering another round of great book discussions for children.   Here's a list of February meetings.  Reservations are required and may be made in person or over the phone by calling the Roswell Library at 770-640-3075.

K1 Book Club (Kindergarten and 1st Grade)
Tuesday, February 8.  4:00 p.m.
No advance preparation is needed.   Just show up and have fun discussing a book selected by one of our super-cool librarians.

Talk It Up Book Club (Ages 9 - 11)
Tuesday, February 15.   4:00 p.m.
Turn Homeward, Hannalee by Patricia Beatty
Summary:   Twelve-year-old Hannalee Reed, forced to relocate to Indiana along with other Georgia millworkers during the Civil War, leaves her mother with a promise to return home as soon as the war ends.

Reading Pals Book Club (2nd and 3rd Graders)
Tuesday, February 22.  4:00 p.m.
Horrible Harry Goes Cuckoo by Suzy Kline
Summary:   While Harry's third-grade class is studying birds, the cold winter weather keeps them cooped up inside during recess and Harry gets restless.
