The Roswell Reads Literary Fest was a blast! Great book (thanks, Lu), great author, great people, and great food. Warren St. John walked around before the program started and chatted with people. Lu's introduction was fab and funny, St. John's talk was moving and informative - and inspiring, door prizes were a big hit, AND Mr. St. John spent time talking to the RR committee after the program. A great event! Many thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make the 5th year, the BEST year.
129 people attended our late afternoon Literary Fest at the Adult Rec Center on Grimes Bridge Road. Several book clubs were in attendance and were given a shout out by Roswell's Branch Manager Lu Conti during her opening remarks.
