A Little More About Those 25 Books Every Georgian Should Read

Just as a post was being prepared to announce a November author visit by local author Amanda Gable, her name popped up on the list of authors recommended by the GA Center for the Book!   Serendipity!  This could also be another example of how the Friends of the Roswell Library are always on the cusp of what's new and cool.  (Please pardon our lack of humility here.)

Amanda Gable, author of The Confederate General Rides North, will visit the Roswell Library as part of the Friends' Atlanta Author Series.  She'll be here Saturday, November 13th @ 2:00 p.m.

Saturday's AJC had an article in the Metro section giving brief summaries of the books recommended by the Georgia Center for the Book.   Click here to read the article and see if you would like to read some of these.  We know you'll be very interested in Amanda Gable's book, as well as Joshilyn Jackson's (the Friends hosted her in January 2009).
