New Noonday Nosh Selection for July 20th

Because of the popularity of Kathryn Stockett's book The Help, Noonday Nosh has decided to change its selection for July.  There continues to be a short-to-long, back-to-short waiting list for The Help and they don't want folks to miss out on getting an available copy of the book.  Instead, Noonday Nosh will read The Help later in the year.

So, to make up for this, they have chosen a fantastic book by Alan Bennett.  The Uncommon Reader presents Queen Elizabeth II as an avid reader, much to the chagrin of her underlings and family members (reading gets in the way of her important duties).  This delightfully funny book will charm you.

The July date for Nosh is Tuesday, July 20th @ noon.  You can wear a tiara, is you wish.
