Calling all young chess players! The Roswell Library is co-sponsoring a chess club for ages 7 - 12 on Monday nights from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. An instructor will supply the chessboards and talk about various moves and strategies. Beginners are welcome, as well as more advanced players. The recommended age range is for elementary school students, but if you have an older or younger player (or want-to-be player), please call the Roswell Library at 770-640-3075 and the staff will be happy to talk to you and let you know if this program is a fit for your child.
The Chess Club will start out meeting in the Story Time Room in the Children's Department (and move to the Meeting Room if necessary). No reservations are required - just show up and have a great time!
