The Preston Cobb Story: The Georgia Case that Changed American Capital Punishment

In recognition of African American History Month, Joseph Cobb will discuss his brother, Preston Cobb, who was tried for murder and put on death row in Georgia in 1961 at the age of 15.  Though later released, Preston Cobb and this case were the impetus for changing the age for death row inmates.  Monday, February 28 at 6:00 p.m.  Registration is requested and may be made in person or over the phone by calling the Roswell Library at 770-640-3075.
